HOW OZONE IS PRODUCED?

Ozone is naturally produced during thunder storms by lightening which are triggered by high voltages. Due to this a concentration of averagely 10 ppb is present in the atmosphere at ground level, which is keeping the air fresh. Technologically in Ozone Generators high voltages are generated and when oxygen is passed through the strong potential gradients, oxygen molecules split into nascent oxygen atom and one atom ‘O’ combines with another oxygen molecule O₂ to form Ozone O₃.

Our ozone generator uses micro gap corona discharge method for ozone generation. The high voltage used for the generation of ozone is very low as compared to any other technologies in the market in ozone generation. This increases the reliability of the machine.

HOW DOES OZONE WORK?

Ozone is the most powerful oxidizing agent and can disinfect the Air/ water safely without leaving any traces of toxic byproducts. It is effective against aerobes and anaerobes. Those which have the least resistance to the effects are pneumococcus, streptococcus hemolyticus, staphylococcus, e-coli, and diphtheria. In general, one ozonation of a few minutes is sufficient to sterilize a culture of aerobes. Ozone is known to be 3000times more powerful in killing the bacteria and viruses in a short contact time.
